Hotel Hilton Oporto Gaia

FICOPE was responsible for the Project Management and Supervision of the Hilton Porto Gaia Hotel in Vila Nova de Gaia, where preserved exterior features reminiscent of traditional Port Wine Cellars’ roofs are perceptible. The project, signed by the award-winning Portuguese designer Nini de Andrade Silva, translates a true ode to detail in a sophisticated and contemporary style, overlooking the Douro River and the historic center of Porto. 

In total, this new 5-star hotel occupies a usable area of around 32 thousand m2, divided over eight floors and offers 194 rooms, an “Executive Lounge”, a restaurant and 2 bars with a panoramic view over the banks of the Douro River.  

The Wellness Center with a total of 1,100 m2, includes a luxurious heated indoor pool, a dynamic Fitness Center with a fully equipped gym open to the general public, and an elegant yoga studio.  

The Hilton Porto Gaia also dedicates around 2,200 m2 to its event and meeting rooms. The “ballroom and the auditorium, with removable stages and equipped with the latest technology, are ideal for business meetings and cultural shows.  

The Hilton Porto Gaia will allow the creation of more than 100 direct and indirect jobs, actively contributing to the dynamization of the local (Cities of Porto and Gaia) and regional (North of Portugal) economies.
