Mama Shelter

Integrated into 13 of the world’s largest cities, the “Mama Shelter” Hotels represent the dynamism and irreverence of the French brand. In Lisbon, a few steps away from Avenida da Liberdade, on 12th January, the brand opened in its first hotel in Portugal, keeping the same concept that defines it: a unique space designed to stimulate the senses.

FICOPE was responsible for the Project Management, Coordination and Supervision of the first “Mama Shelter” hotel in Portuguese lands. A Hotel with 8 floors and 1 basement, with a total construction area of 5,163.1 m² and 130 rooms, restaurants and bar, a terrace and a rooftop.

An integrated intervention that allowed to maintain the urban heritage and cultural value of the building, and consequently the originality of the urban centre, in a Portuguese reinterpretation of the bold “Mama Shelter” design concept.
